MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – November 10, 2014 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., Steven DellaGiustina and Thomas Paine

Phil Grannan, Michael Sullivan and Jeff LaCasse discussed the AFG 2014 grant. Phil will be applying for a new pumper. Tolland would be responsible for 5% of the awarded grant. Phil suggested that Tolland contribute an additional $100,000. Phil was advised that additional monies may make the application more appealing. If Tolland is not awarded the grant, Michael Sullivan will attend a demo show to possible purchase a refurbished pumper.
Phil will continue the application process on the Operations and Safety Mini Grant. Maximum award $25,000 with Tolland’s share being 5% ($1,250).
Jim Deming asking for the status of the Solar Farm PILOT. He is aware of the Special Town Meeting requirement. Before the Board of Selectmen can schedule a Special Town Meeting the Board of Assessors must establish a value.
