MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – October 21, 2013 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., Steven DellaGiustina and Thomas Paine
Also Present: Ed Deming
Phil Grannan
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and accepted.
Annual meeting dates were scheduled:
Town Caucus – April 28th 7PM
Budget Hearing – April 28th 7:15PM
Special Town Meeting May 27th (if needed) 7PM
Annual Town Meeting – May 27th 7:15PM
Town election – June 7th
Fiscal 2015 budgets are due February 10th.
Phil reviewed grant applications. Phil also expressed his concerns with the town getting to “top heavy” with equipment. The Selectboard stated that if a vehicle is received the department must remove the current vehicle. Phil was given permission from the Selectboard to continue with his grant applications.
Ed was authorized to move forward with the DPW clothing allowance and cancel the uniform service that they presently use. Ed calculated it to be a cost savings for the town.
Ed was requested to price out a grader rental.
The Board of Selectmen adjourned to attend an all boards meeting.
Meeting adjourned at 5:55PM
