MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – January 22 , 2013 4:50 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., Steven DellaGiustina and Thomas Paine
Also Present: Phil Grannan
Phil Grannan informed the board of a generator grant through Hazard Mitigation Grant. Generator cost for the Town Hall would be $38,162 with a 25% town match and a generator for DPW $57,549 with a 25% match. In Phil’s opinion it is a lot of money and wanted to be sure the board wanted to apply. The board recommended an electrician to have a smaller generator quoted.
5:10PM Executive Session for the purpose of reviewing Highway Superintendent applicants.
Edwin Deming was offered the position of Highway Superintendent with the understanding that he must obtain a medical card and Hoisting License.
