MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – May 28, 2012 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., and Steven DellaGiustina

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and accepted.
Board of Selectmen appointed Kevin Donovan as Manager of the Municipal Light Plant (MLP) and appointed Delegate to WiredWest. Gloria Gery was appointed as an Alternate Delegate.
The Select Board named the Municipal Light Plant (MLP) “Tolland Municipal Light Plant”.
Select Board reviewed the Wiredwest Cooperative Agreement.
Received an email from Cynthia Joyce, regarding the condition of a cemetery tombstone that is located at the graves of her Aunt and Uncle. At the time of their burial a fee was not charged for either the plot or for any perpetual care. Families are responsible for the purchase of tombstones if they choose to place them and there care if in need.
D.I. Jacobs Consulting Company will be scheduled to meet with the Board of Selectmen on June 11th to discuss a Compensation Proposal.
The board discussed and voted to have the cleaning of the bathrooms and hallways located at the Public Safety Complex every week at the rate of $30 and complete building as needed.
