MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING –  April 23, 2012 4:00 PM

Selectmen Present:        Eric R. Munson, Jr., Steven DellaGiustina and Thomas Paine

Wayne presented a budget number of $53,150.00 for the reclaiming of the blacktop at the Public Works building. The discussion will be tabled until the Board of Selectmen meets with the Finance Committee on Monday, April 30th.

Wayne reviewed his plan for Fiscal 2013.
     Reclaiming of Clubhouse Road from route 57 to the Walker’s residence
    Route 57 from the Carriage House to Burt Hill Road
    Chip Seal Covell, Clark Road and Beetle Road
    Paving Hartland Road from Route 57 to the PSC entrance
    Line painting
    Replacement of culverts on Route 57

Wayne is working with Lane Construction on getting the paving of the Public Safety Complex donated.

Board of Health – Roland Dupuis of D3 Engineering representing Thomas and Linda Grunwald of 95 Slope Road requested an extension of the May 15 deadline for the replacement of a failed septic system. The board voted unanimously to have the Grunwald’s hire a licensed septage hauler, cap the outlet of the septic tank, use the septic tank as a “tight tank” and pump the contents when necessary. Installation of the new system must be installed by July 30, 2012.

Verne and Beverly Usher of 40 Stones Throw requested an extension of the May 15th deadline for the replacement of a failed septic system to September 30, 2012. The board voted unanimously to have the Usher’s hire a licensed septage hauler, cap the outlet of the septic tank, use the septic tank as a “tight tank” and pump the contents when necessary. Installation of the new system must be installed by July 30, 2012. Property will not be allowed to be occupied unless a cap is installed.

Frank Fazi, President of Wildwood Property Assoc. was asked if a WPOA resident would be allowed to fix a failed septic system within the months that WPOA has the road restriction. Frank responded that the WPOA board would discuss the situation with the homeowner.

Effective immediately the cleaning of the Public Safety Building will be done on an as needed basis.
