MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – April 9, 2012 4:00 PM

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and accepted with corrections.
Received a total amount of $24,656.00 from items that were sold at auction by Petrowsky Auctioneers Inc

John Deere Backhoe Attachment
A $1,500 fee was charged for the moving of the equipment. Wayne did not budget for the fee and would like the board for find available monies to cover the fee. The Board of Selectmen will request a Reserve Fund transfer.
Wayne submitted a schedule of work.
Wayne was asked to call LaCasse Management for a quote for fertilizing and seeding of the Public Safety Complex.
Discussed the FY12 Winter Roads budget. Wayne would like to purchase a pusher plow and a snow plow with an approximate cost of $15,000 total.
Cole and Grayson Duval – Boy Scout Troop 114, would like permission to build a wood shed with a metal roof. The boys would like the shed to be placed at the Public Safety Complex. The purpose of the shed would to be to sell camp firewood. The Board will vote on it at their next meeting on Monday, April 23, 2012.
Joanne Duval submitted the FY13 Transfer Station budget. Joann stated that there is a need to replace 2 “roll offs”. Joanne met with the Finance Committee to discuss the Transfer Station FY13 budget. The Finance Committee has requested that the Transfer Station continue to pay for it’s self. The Board of Selectmen approved of a 20 yard bin to be placed at the Transfer Station for bulky waste in July and August. Valerie Nickerson-Bird, Board of Health Agent will be asked if she would be available to inspect the Transfer Station.
