MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – November 14, 2011 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., Steven DellaGiustina and Thomas Paine

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and accepted.
In a public hearing regarding 40 Stones Throw, and 95 the Slope, held November 14, 2011 at 6:00PM and 6:15PM respectively it was decided unanimously that:

40 Stones Throw was in violation of 105 CMR 15.305. The owner, Mr. Verne Usher will upgrade his septic system in full compliance by May 15, 2011. The dwelling shall not be occupied until such time that a Certificate of Compliance has been issued.

95 The Slope was in violation of 105 CMR 15.305.The owners, Mr and Mrs Thomas Grunwald would obtain a building permit from the Building Inspector to remove a wall therefore reducing the number of bedrooms to three bedrooms, obtaining the services of a professional engineer to design a septic system for three bedrooms, and install a septic system in full compliance by May 15, 2011. This dwelling may have limited use until such time a Certificate of Compliance is issued.

Failure to comply will result in fines of not less than $10 a day and not more than $500 for each day.

Fiscal 2012 Budget due date – February 13, 2012
Notifications to all Department Heads by April 16, 2012
Town Caucus – May 8, 2012 7PM
Budget Hearing – May 8, 2012 7:15PM
Special Town Meeting – May 22, 2012 7PM – Annual Town Meeting 7:15PM
Town election date will be scheduled by Susan Voudren, Town Clerk
Town of Sandisfield, Board of Selectmen held a “small towns” Selectmen’s meeting. The next meeting has been scheduled to be held in Tolland on January 11th at 7PM. This meeting will include the Board of Selectmen’s from each town and their DPW Superintendent.
The Selectboard will request Wayne Carr to move forward with the auctioning/sale of the large screening plant.
