MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – October 17, 2011 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., Steven DellaGiustina and Thomas Paine
Also Present: Susan Voudren, Town Clerk
WMECO, Pole Hearing for poles to be located at the Transfer Station on Colebrook River Road. Board of Selectmen approved
Susan made a statement about some Tolland roads in regards to water run offs.
Received a letter from the Town of Sandisfield, Board of Selectmen inviting the board to attend a meeting of several small towns on November 8th at 7PM. The Selectboard will be attending.
A Special Town Meeting has been scheduled for November 14th 7PM for vote on an article for the swapping of property between the Town of Tolland and Mr. Dziedzic.
Notification was given to the board of the town’s fiscal 2012 tax rate of 6.00.
The resignation of Pamela Schettini from the Conservation Commission was accepted. Sue Voudren asked that a replacement be found for her on the same board.
The Board of Selectmen voted to opt-in to the Statewide Public Works Municipal Mutual Aid Agreement.
Appoint Kevin Donovan to the Broadband 123 committee. David Pickhardt resigned. An article will be written to appear on the Special Town Meeting of November 15th for Wired West membership.
An all boards meeting is scheduled for November 16th at 6:30. The Selectboard is requesting that a member from each committee attend.
