MINUTES OF AN EMERGENCY MEETING – April 27, 2009 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., Steven DellaGiustina and Thomas Paine
Also, Present: Wayne Carr, DPW Superintendent and Robert Littlefield, Fire Chief
The Board of Selectmen requested that Wayne move forward with the chipping of brush from the December ice storm.
Wayne asked for authorization to go forward with the towns of Granville and Blandford to purchase a leaf blower. The three towns would set up a fund for any major repairs. Any minor repairs will be the responsibility of the town using the blower. Each town would be responsible for a third of the cost, $1,840.00. Board of Selectmen authorized purchase for Fiscal 09.
Authorization from the Selectboard was given for Steve Messenger to repair/weld the oil leak in the tanker.
Fire Chief, Robert Littlefield discussed a fire call and a letter that was sent from the property owner. A letter will be written by town counsel. Also, a policy will be written to address firearms.
