MINUTES OF AN EMERGENCY MEETING – April 6, 2009 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., Steven DellaGiustina and Thomas Paine
Also, Present: Wayne Carr and Edwin Deming
Discussed Fiscal 2010 school budget. The Finance Committee and Board of Selectmen will be presenting a level funded budget at Tolland’s Budget Hearing.
Sergeant Edwin Deming asked if the Tolland Police Cruiser could be used by a Tolland Officer for police detail work in other towns such as Sandisfield. The board approved of the vehicle being used with the understanding that if the cruiser is needed in Tolland the Officer would be required to leave the detail.
The Board of Selectmen appointed Susan Voudren and Stanley Parzych to serve as members of the Conservation Commission.
The Board of Selectmen appointed Phil Grannan as a member of the Public Safety & Municipal Complex Committee.
Received a letter from The Commonwealth of Mass notifying the board of Tolland’s Chapter 90 monies, $123,706.
Board of Selectmen authorized Wayne Carr to help the Town of Blandford repair their small excavator. The Town of Tolland has permission to use the excavator when needed.
