MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING – September 29, 2008 5:10 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., Steven DellaGiustina and Thomas Paine
Also Present: Robert Gery, Robert Littlefield and Michael Sullivan
Mr. Dziedzic presented the board with a map of his property showing the property trade.
Robert Gery, Chairman of the Public Safety and Municipal Complex Committee and Fire Chief Robert Littlefield meet with the Board of Selectmen to report the committee’s progress.
Fire Chief Littlefield stated that there was an electrical fire over the weekend at the Tolland Highway Garage. Alan Daigneau, Wiring Inspector inspected the building in 2006 and stated that the electrical service is a “danger to both persons and property and needed urgent attention”. His recommendation was to do a complete service change. The Board of Selectmen authorized Wayne Carr, Highway Superintendent to move forward with the replacement of the main service line to the box.
The Board of Selectmen voted to appoint Frank and Ann Fazi as Election Workers.
