MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING – October 30, 2006 5:30 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., James Deming and
Steven DellaGiustina
Minutes of the previous meeting were accepted as read.
The Board voted on a Purchase Order system. Department heads will be required to use a Purchase Order with any purchases made over the amount of $250. The Purchase Order will need to be approved by the board before the purchase is made.
The board approved of a $800 estimate from O’Brien and Son for a fall clean up. This estimate will include all cemeteries and the town green.
Letter received from Richard Dziedzic of Meadow Drive requesting the board schedule a Special Town Meeting for the purpose of granting an easement. A Special Town Meeting will be schedule for Monday, December 11, 2006 at 7PM.
The hours for the Transfer Station will change to winter hours as of December 1, 2006 (Sunday’s 3PM- 5PM, Wednesday’s 5PM-7PM and Saturday’s 9AM-11AM).
Authorization was given to Wayne to have John Devine run electrical for the furnace that will provide temporary heat to the Fire Department.
