A request for evidence of work being done by the DPW was made. The Board of Selectmen is aware and addressing the issue.
Carolyn Locke, Library Trustee – Received a letter requesting work to be done at the Library; Interior Paint, Furnace replacement and Floor Reinforcement. The interior painting has been completed. A verbal report from John Panaia, Highway Superintendent stated that the furnace does not need to be replaced. Eric stated that the Board of Selectmen will need to request that the basement be cleaned out in order for the beams to be looked at properly. When the replacement doors are installed they will try to look at the beams for a valuation. Eric stated that increasing the floor beams will not increase the capacity that is allowed at the Library that the number is based on square footage.
Eric informed the Selectmen of a conversation he had with Sharon Messenger of Colebrook River Road concerning a grave site located next to where her mother is buried. Sharon will be sending in a letter with her question and will be passed on to the Cemetery Committee.
