MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING – Feb. 28, 2005 6:10 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., James Deming, and Wesley D. Greene II
Present:
Minutes of previous meeting accepted.
The question was asked, what the requirements for posting Public Hearing Notices are. Eric replied that individual Department Heads are responsible for posting their own Hearings and give notice to the Town Clerk within 24 hrs.
Signed Town Caucus and Special Town Meeting Warrant.
A request was sent in for the renewal of Twin Brook Camping Area’s license. Before the Selectmen would renew the license they wanted to be sure that all the “noncompliance” issues were taken care of.
Michael Sullivan asked if the town hall could be used every 3rd Thursday of each month for a 4H meeting. The Selectmen agreed.
The Board discussed the Articles for the Special Town Meeting on March 28th.
Received notification from Connecticut Valley Girl Scout Council that whey will be operating a summer resident camp for 2005 on Timber Trails site beginning Tuesday, July 5 and ending Saturday, August 6.
