The Board, after a discussion, unanimously decided to keep the trash permit fee at $10.00. The cost of the bags will also remain the same.

A discussion took place regarding the issue with Michael Lodsin of 250 Harvey Mountain Road. A copy of the letter that was sent to Michael Lodsin was given to
Bob Bitso.
Received a letter from the Tolland Church Committee concerning the church green and its liability. It was suggested that the town leases the green for $1.00 and the town would then take the responsibility for liability when the green is being used for different town functions. The Board could see no problem with the request. The Board will follow up with Attorney Thomas Locke.
Received letter from Joseph Shoplack of Colebrook River Road requesting that the town look into purchasing flags for the telephone poles on RT 57. The DPW Superintendent looked into the flags. Eric Munson made a donation on behalf of the Historical Commission for the town to purchase flags. The flags will start at the center cemetery and be placed on every other pole up RT 57 until just past the church. There will be one flag placed on the first pole of Hartland Rd., Schoolhouse Rd., Colebrook River Rd. and Clubhouse Rd.. The town will be running an ad in the July Tattler for anyone that would like to sponsor a flag for $10. The flags that are sponsored will fill in.
The open container was available at the dump on June 12th & 13th. John stated that the container was only 1/3 full and requested the container stay through June 27th. The Board agreed.
DPW Superintendent updated the Board as to the upcoming projects. John requested the replacement of the Lesco mower. He said that it is broken down more than it is running and it is starting to run into a lot of money for repairs. The Selectmen asked him to get prices on replacement.
