Meeting: August 17, 2015
Present: Tom Paine, Mike Kaminski, Sean Shaw
Meeting brought to order by Tom Paine at 7:27 pm. Sean Shaw to record minutes.
New Business:
Stan Rosen 339 Beetle Road, Map 116, Lot 1, presented proposed construction of a new shed placed 25’ from property line.~ Existing house also does not conform (14’ from deck to property line).~ Board sent him to the Zoning Board of Appeals for a setback variance.
John & Marla Byrnes of 308 South Trail (Tunxis Club), Map 110, Lot 3, presented a plan to replace a crumbling house/ foundation with new construction on same footprint - Plan is too close to the lake (22 ft.). Referred to Building Inspector for direction.
Bill Silk asked for input on presentation of his plan for a new house on Burt Hill Road (Map 401, Lot 22.1) He was asked to come back to next meeting with a more detailed plan, denoting set back distances etc.
