MINUTES OF PLANNING BOARD

Meeting was called to order by Chairman, James Deming, at 7:05 p.m.
Old Business:
- Minutes of meeting of April 28, 2008 were approved as written.
- Minutes of meeting of 3/17/08 will be modified and presented for approval at the June meeting.
New Business:
Steve Messinger of 492 New Boston Road, Map 409, Lot 4, requested Site Plan Approval to build a 16’ x 24’ garage on a foundation, which was built before Tolland’s Zoning was adopted. The foundation violates the Western sideline setback by 15 feet.
- All other setbacks are met.
- The Board voted to reject the proposed Site Plan and to refer the applicant
to the Zoning Board of Appeals.
Josh Delmar of 398 Sun Valley Road, Morrisville, VT 05661, representing AT&T Wireless, appeared before the Board to discuss an upcoming application to modify Verizon’s existing cell tower off East Otis Road. AT&T plans to add antennas below those already installed by Verizon and to build a 12’ x 20’ shelter within the fenced area of the existing facility.
As there was no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:56 pm.
