Meeting opened by Chairman Joyce at 7:05.

Old Business:

A Public Hearing for Chester Fisher.s deck at 185 Lands End Drive (Map 101, Lot 30) has been scheduled for the next meeting of the Planning Board, on June 18th at 7:00 p.m.

Minutes for March 19, 2007 were unanimously approved as written.

Minutes for April, 23, 2007 were unanimously approved as written.


New Business:

Denis Cormier, representing Camp Kinderland, requested a temporary one year permit to place a rented trailer on-site in advance of constructing a new building to replace one considered unsafe.  The rented trailer will house employees.
Map 401, Lot 30
Request approved unanimously

Nancy Magnusson of 365 Jeff Miller Road requests Site Plan Approval to build a 6’ by 4’ pottery shed to be attached to an existing barn.
Map 412, Lot 30.2
As setback requirements will be met, Site Plan approved unanimously

Gregory Messenger requested permission to operate a nursery and plant stand
Map 409, Lot 5.2.
This nursery and plant stand will be operated, cooperatively with his sister, Joan Henderson
Site plan approved unanimously.

Joan Henderson requested permission to operate a plant stand from  property adjoining her Brother’s property (Map 409, Lot 5.1)
Current owner of the property is her mother, Carolyn Mills
Site Plan approved unanimously.

Simchak Ackley,  237 Lands End Road, wants to build a gazebo on State Property, adjacent to her property, but below the high watermark of Otis Reservoir.
Map 101, Lot 38
Since the gazebo would be placed on land, which is  owned by the State, the Board took no action.

An application to replace a dock on Otis Reservoir was presented.
Map 209, Lot 21
Since the dock is on State owned property, no action was taken

Jessica Allen from the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission spoke to member about the Commission’s Valley Vision Intergovernmental Compact.  Tolland is one of only five (5) towns in the region who have not signed the plan.  Board members were urged to study the plan and consider signing it, as early as possible.
   
The next meeting of the Planning Board is scheduled for June 18, 2007 at 7:00 p.m.

Meeting adjourned at 9:02 p.m.
