MINUTES OF PLANNING BOARD
Meeting of 03/15/2004
Chairman Stephen McAlister called meeting to order at 7:15 p.m.

Minutes for meetings of 12/15/03 and 1/26/04 were approved as written.
New Business:
1. Selectman Wesley Greene spoke to the Board regarding a request that the Town of Tolland permit a local college to perform an Open Space Planning Study. A committee would be needed to sponsor the project and the completion of the project would enable the Town to receive State and Federal grants for Open Space and recreational areas. The Board voted favorably on the proposal, but requested that neighboring towns, who have completed such studies, be polled for adverse experiences.

Description: Resurfacing old deck and adding a new 10’ by 12’ deck with stairs
Action Taken: This is a pre-existing non-conforming lot, but the new deck will not increase the non-conformity. The site plan was therefore approved.
