A review and discussion of department budgets took place. The following budget reports need further discussion and are listed by line item:
#10.) What is the hourly rate and number of hours?
#17.) Why the disparity in the amount the town is co-paying health benefits between the Highway Supervisor and Management Assistant, 50% versus 65% and why the change from the previous FY?
#18A.) Why the $5661 increase?
#22.) Why is the town buying $80 flashlights and other questions.
#25.) Audits. Ask Podolak about frequencies and suggestions regarding companies who can perform the service.
#30.) Talk to Police Chief.
#30A.) see above.
#34.) Tattler. Need to speak with whoever said the Tattler expenses will be reduced due to web site. What will be the mechanics of removing people from the mailing list?
#38.) Ask Selectman Greene why the disparity in the numbers.
#45.) What is the $190 for?
#47.) List of documents that should be preserved.
#54.) Committee should be put together to review technical support for IT needs.
Selectman Munson said he would ask the Management Assistant to put together salary numbers as they are always a hot topic at Budget Hearings and Town Meeting.
