Pursuant to Chapter 131, Section 40 MGL, the Tolland Conservation Commission held public hearings on
April 24, 2014 at Tolland Town Hall, 241 West Granville Rd, Tolland.

HEARINGS
Open Hearings began at 5:22
- RDA . Submitted by Fred Stone of 263 Lakeside Drive. Applicant has removed damaged trees endangering the home. This was previously given an Emergency Certification. Unanimous vote for negative determination. RDA 2014-01.
- RDA. Submitted by Andrew DeRocco of 63 Chipmunk Crossing. Applicant seeks to remove old dock and replace it with a new aluminum dock. Property is located on Cranbury Pond. Unanimous vote for negative determination. RDA 2014-02.
New dock is same size as old one. Sets on the bottom of pond. New dock will be removed in fall and replaced in the spring. All sections and materials will be moved by hand.
- RDA . Submitted by John Miller of 82 Porcupine Point. Applicant seeks to remove two dead trees in the buffer zone of Cranbury Pond. Unanimous vote for negative determination.
RDA 2014-03
Trees will be removed, but root systems to remain to prevent erosion.
- RDA. Submitted by Joan Maxson of 207 Lakeside Drive. Applicant seeks to remove a dead tree within the buffer zone of Cranbury Pond. Unanimous vote for negative determination.

Work to be done without heavy equipment on slope where tree is located.
