Pursuant to Chapter 131, Section 40 MGL, the Tolland Conservation Commission held public hearings on
May 30, 2013, at Tolland Town Hall, 241 West Granville Rd, Tolland.

Open Hearings began at 5:30 PM
- RDA- Submitted by Jose Nicoletti of 64 Porcupine Point. Applicant seeks to rebuild a dock on Cranbury Pond. Unanimous vote for a negative determination. RDA 2013-001
Dock is made of a prefab aluminum frame which can be carried to the water. It sits on pads and will not disturb the pond floor. It will be set in place and leveled.
- RDA- Submitted by Kim Waltman of 74 Porcupine Point. Applicant seeks to remove one tree and plant eight others with the use of machinery within the buffer zone of Cranbury Pond. Unanimous vote for a negative determination. RDA 2013-002.
Use a mini excavator to dig holes for trees. Use caution in turning machine Maintain silt fence which already exists. No additional fencing is needed. Tree removal contractor will removed designated tree plus two others noted as dead by the commission. Work to begin in ten days after meeting date.
