Minutes of the Conservation Commission’s August 26, 2010 Hearings and Meeting
Pursuant to Chapter 131, Section 40 MGL, the Tolland Conservation Commission held a public hearings and meeting on August 26, 2010, at Tolland Town Hall, 241 West Granville Rd, Tolland for the following purposes:
Public Hearing opened at 6:35 p.m.
Members Present:
Bryan Perry, Pamela Schettini, Sue Voudren & Valerie Bird
Others Present: Dean Contaxis, Dave Wheeler, John Boleng, Bob Ueberbaucher, Frank Fazi
NOI submitted by Dean Contaxis, location 101 Lakeview Lane, Map 102/Lot 49 for reconstruction of Single family house. NOI prepared by Civil/Architectural Design.
A motion was made to continue the hearing until September 16, 2010 at 7:00 p.m., motion was 2nd and approved unanimously.
Information of note: Hearing to be continued until September 16, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. due to; MESA information not back from the State. Also a draft of replanting guide to be provide at that time.
Meeting of the Conservation Commission was opened at 7:20 p.m.
There was no old business to discuss
New Business:
Tunxis Club requested an extension on their existing drawdown order for Noyes Pond for an additional three (3) yrs. To November 30, 2013.
Motion was made to accept, 2nd and passed unanimously.
President of WPOA, Frank Fazi submitted a letter and drawing regarding removal of two bog mats that have floated to an area at the waterfront and sunk in the location of 229 & 13 Lakeside Drive. This will be addressed at the next meeting of the Board. The letter also included a request to remove a tree that has fallen and landed so that it is half in the lake located at 339 Beetle Road.
The minutes of the August 3, 2010 Hearing and Meeting were read and accepted.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
