Board of Assessors Meeting Minutes

The December minutes were read, signed and approved.
A decision in the favor of the Town of Tolland from the Appellate Tax Board was received and read at the meeting.
Jessica Kelmelis has recused herself from any research or decisions about the upcoming project about legal ownership documentation for residences within the Tunxis Club Community citing a conflict of interest.
One real estate abatement application was reviewed and granted. All appropriate paperwork was signed.
One real estate abatement application was tabled until next meeting. Jessica will be asking for information from Valerie Bird from Tolland Board of Health.
One personal property abatement application was tabled until next meeting pending DOR information.
The Board approved the FY2015 proposed budget to be submitted to the Board of Selectmen and the Finance Committee.
Meeting was adjourned at 10:55am
