Board of Assessors Meeting Minutes

November minutes were read, signed and approved.
Jessica reported to the Board about the Appellate Tax Board hearings of December 4th. As of the meeting date, a decision still had not been received.
Omitted frontage assessments will not be taxed for the Fiscal Year 2014 as there is not enough excess capacity to send out revised bills.
The Board unanimously voted to acquire a subscription to MLS to aid in in sales research.
The Board had a brief discussion on map storage. Rather than purchase an additional map file cabinet, the office will maintain the most recent 10 years of assessor maps as well as NFIP maps in the town hall. The remaining maps will be tubed and stored.
