Minutes from the September meeting were read and accepted.
One Motor Vehicle abatement application was reviewed and granted. All corresponding paperwork was signed.
It has come to the attention of the BOA that Hull Forestland has sold one of its Chapter 61 parcels to an entity called Tedland LLC. A letter will be sent to Hull requesting information on the sale to be sure Chapter 61 regulations have been fulfilled.
The BOA continued a conversation on the value of non-conforming parcels contiguously owned by spouses. By case law (Berg vs Lexington) it is described to be illegal to avoid zoning in this method. Meaning that the contiguous properties must be merged as they are with the parcels in the name of one owner. The BOA has further questions for legal counsel and will continue the topic when a response has been received.
