Approved minutes from August Meeting.
Discussed Appellate Tax Board date of December 15, 2005. Still agree on our ruling. Paperwork will be forwarded to Thomas Locke Esq.
Agreed not to purchase NADA books.
Letter from Marilyn Brown warning of no appropriations for revaluation could deny preliminary tax bills. Responded with updated work plan and letter of assurance that work has continued even without appropriations.
Jessica spoke with Dan Murphy at the DOR legal line on the Sheldon property sale. He says that Chapter land is transferable and that we should maintain the old lien on the property as well as a new lien to illustrate history.
Discussion continued on contiguous lots. Before deciding on how to vote, we still need more information.
Assessor clerk hour rate raise of $.50 per hour across the board retroactive to July 1 as approved by town vote.
Jessica will devise a public record request form for the website with appropriate fee schedule.
