Absentee Ballot Information for 11/6/2018 Election
The State Election will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018
The polling hours are 7AM to 8PM at the Public Safety Complex (PSC).

How to Request Absentee Ballot

The only reasons to request absentee ballots are as follows:
Absence from the town during the hours the polls are open.
Physical disability preventing you from going to the polling place.
Religious belief.
OR
a Massachusetts citizen absent from the state; or
an active member of the armed forces or merchant marines, their spouse or dependent; or
a person confined in a correctional facility or a jail, except if by reason of felony conviction.

Absentee ballot request forms are available our website www.tolland-ma.gov , on the State of Ma website and at the town hall.  The request must be completed and received by the Town Clerk so that the ballot can be mailed to you a.s.a.p.  Be sure to follow the instructions when completing the absentee ballot which includes filling out the front of the brown envelope, signing it and sealing your ballot inside.  The absentee ballot can’t be dropped in the Town Hall front door mail drop.  Your Absentee Ballot must be  mailed  so that it has a postmark or hand delivered to the Town Clerk up until close of polls 8:00 p.m. day of the election.  You may also arrange with the Town Clerk to come in and fill out a request for absentee ballot form and then vote your absentee ballot prior to the election, contact info below.

The absentee ballot application deadline is Monday November 5th at Noon.  Town Clerk will be at the Town Hall starting at 10 a.m.
