Knitters Needed
All month long in February we are promoting an event through the American Heart Association called Little Hats, Big Hearts. The idea is to knit or crochet red hats for babies born in February to “honor babies, moms and heart healthy lives”. It may seem as though we are a bit late in the game but we would like to make this a yearlong project. Any hats that are completed and dropped at the Library by February 14th will get mailed to AHA right away. We have some crazy fast knitters among us so I am sure we will send a few. For those of us who are a bit slower, we will be collecting to send out next January 11th, 2019!! We still have a few cold dark months ahead of us. I hope you will join in. How do I use this new card?
We have been a part of the CWMARS network for six months now. Is there anyone out there who is having trouble logging in to their account, requesting items or doesn’t know how to get digital material? Come to the Library on Wednesday February 7th between 3 and 6. Bring your lap top, tablet or phone or use our computers and I will help you get a better understanding of how to use the network. Can’t make it on the 7th? Then come in at any time and see me, Jessica, and I will give you a hand.

Hero Reading Group
Do you have a hero? Someone who you are in awe of? Come share your favorite historical or modern day hero with friends at the Tolland Public Library. Come dressed as or share props and information that illustrates this person’s life. Most importantly, let’s have fun!
When: Saturday, February 10 from 12:30-1:30 PM

Game Day
Winter School vacation doldrums? Come join us at the Tolland Public Library for puzzles and games. Bring or meet up with your buddies, or make some new ones, and hit the floor with a game or puzzle.
There will be an adult puzzle in action at the tables.
When: Thursday, February 22 from 1:00 – 2:30 PM
