To all residents of Tolland. Open burning is now open until April 30th, 2018. Anyone wishing to open burn must first complete an open burn permit and submit it to the Fire Department. On the day you intend to burn you must call (413) 258-2859 to check the message to see if open burning is allowed for that day. If open burning is not allowed that particular day a message will be left stating “There will be no open burning today January ??, 2018.” If open burning is allowed please leave a message on the Fire Department phone stating the following.
Location of burn, person responsible and a contact phone number for that person. For a complete list of instructions on open burning please go to the Town Website, tolland-ma.gov, click on Government and then click on Fire Department. Highlighted in blue is the open burning permit and instructions.
