Job Posting - Clerk to Assistant Town Clerk
The Town of Tolland is seeking qualified applicants for a clerical position in the Town Clerk’s Office. Responsibilities include providing clerical and administrative support for the Department. This includes assistance in administering census and elections, recording vital records and issuance of certain licenses and permits. Applicant must have superior customer service skills and be able to deal effectively with coworkers and the public in a tactful manner. Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Access, Excel, and Word is required, as well as the ability to learn the state Voter Registration Information System along with various software programs in use within the office.
