The Tolland Broadband Committee is seeking 3 dedicated volunteers.
Candidates should be willing to share their skills and donate their time to meet with those involved with the Town (Selectmen, Finance Committee) and others (Network operators, ISP’s, Project Managers, MBI, WiredWest) in building the Broadband network for Tolland to be completed over the next 3 years.
Skills and knowledge with Broadband (Fiber optic networks), Networking, Network design or Engineering, Computers and Project Management would be beneficial but not required for the committee. A strong commitment and desire to work on this project through completion is required.
Attendance at meetings is a requirement. The meetings will be held weekly as we start to progress through the construction of the network over the next 12 months and forward.
