Street Cencus Mailing

From the Office of the Town Clerk:

ANNUAL STREET CENSUS
Every household should have received an envelope from the Town Clerk’s office by now with the street census, dog licensing and cat and dog rabies clinic information.  Every household that has full time residents should complete the street census for all occupants including children.  If you did not receive the form in the mail and are full time residents, including renters, contact me and I will send another form out to you.

Remember the annual street census is required by the State of Massachusetts and failure to sign and return this form whether or not you have any corrections, additions or deletions, will result in removal from the active voters list.  If you are moved to the inactive list you will be asked the next time to come to vote to show a photo ID to prove that you still reside at the same address as previous information.

Note regarding changes indicated on the street census:
Removing a person, you can put in the code M for moved but if they are a registered voter I cannot remove then unless they send me a signed letter stating they have moved and wish to be deleted as a voter in Tolland.
Changing your political party also is only possible if the voter sends me a signed letter requesting the change; it cannot be done by just changing it on the street census form.

Any questions do not hesitate to contact me - “Sue” Susan H. Voudren, Town Clerk 413-258-4794 x102 or email me at townclerk@tolland-ma.com
