PRESENT: Mayor Fixell; Trustees Basher, McGee, McGovern and Zollo; Village Administrator Blau
ABSENT: Trustees Butler and Hoyt
Trustee McGovern moved, seconded by Trustee Basher and unanimously carried to open the Special Meeting.
Confirmation of Fire Department Election
Trustee Zollo moved, seconded by Trustee McGee that the following resolution be approved. Motion carried, all voting “aye”. Approved: 5 - 0
BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Tarrytown does hereby confirm the Tarrytown Volunteer Fire Department election of William Logan, Jr. for the position of Fire Chief.
Trustee McGovern moved, seconded by Trustee Zollo that the following resolution be approved.
BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Tarrytown does hereby confirm the Tarrytown Volunteer Fire Department election of Terrence Murphy for the position of First Assistant Fire Chief.
Motion not carried. Mayor Fixell, Trustees McGee and McGovern voting “aye”. Trustees Basher and Zollo voting “nay”.
Trustee McGovern moved, seconded by Trustee Zollo that the following resolution be approved. Motion carried, all voting “aye”. Approved: 5 - 0
BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Tarrytown does hereby confirm the Tarrytown Volunteer Fire Department election of Kelly Murphy for the position of Second Assistant Fire Chief.
Adjournment
Trustee McGovern moved, seconded by Trustee McGee and unanimously carried that the Special Meeting be adjourned at 9:00 a.m.
