Special Meeting No. 30
March 25, 2014
7:00 p.m.
PRESENT: Mayor Fixell; Trustees Basher, Hoyt, McGee and McGovern; Village Administrator Blau.
ABSENT: Trustees Butler and Zollo
ALSO PRESENT: Police Chief Brown; Fire Chief Morabito; William Maher
Trustee McGovern moved, seconded by Trustee McGee and unanimously carried to open the Special Meeting.
Discussion of Fire Department Service Awards Program
William Maher, Coordinator of the Service Awards (LOSAP) program for the Tarrytown Fire Department explained how the awards program works, specifically in relation to the inputting of information into the computer system to record points for the program. Security issues associated with the information in the system was discussed.
Trustee Basher moved, seconded by Trustee Hoyt and unanimously carried to go into Executive Session to discuss a police investigation relating to Village owned property.
No action was taken by the Board of Trustees in the Special Meeting.
Adjournment
Trustee Hoyt moved, seconded by Trustee McGee and unanimously carried that the Special Meeting be adjourned. Meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
