PRESENT:        Chairman Perry; Members, Mr. Carr and Ms. Greenwood

ABSENT: Mr. Mignogna and Ms. Pinckney

BERTOLACCI – 115 MARYMOUNT AVENUE

The Board reviewed plans to install a new stone apron in the driveway.

Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.  
No one appeared.

“Bertolacci – 115 Marymount Avenue - I have reviewed this application to install a new stone apron in the driveway and determined the proposal appears to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”

Ms. Greenwood moved, seconded by Mr. Carr and unanimously carried to approve the installation of a new stone apron in the driveway at 115 Marymount Avenue as shown on the plans received by the Building Department dated April 28, 2014 and July 16, 2014.

ANDERSON – 28 MALLARD RISE

The Board reviewed plans for construction of a new chimney.

Zoning Board approval received June 9, 2014.

Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.  
No one appeared.

“Anderson – 28 Mallard Rise - I have reviewed this application for the construction of a new chimney and determined the proposal appears to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”

Mr. Carr moved, seconded by Ms. Greenwood and unanimously carried to approve the construction of a new chimney at 28 Mallard Rise as shown on the plans received by the Building Department dated May 22, 2014 and July 14, 2014.

GILLEN – 34 SUNNYSIDE AVENUE

The Board reviewed plans to change the paint color on the existing residence.

Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.  
No one appeared.

“Gillen – 34 Sunnyside Avenue - I have reviewed this application to change the paint color on the existing residence and determined the proposal appears to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”

Ms. Greenwood moved, seconded by Mr. Carr and unanimously carried to approve the change in paint color on the existing residence at 34 Sunnyside Avenue as shown on the plans received by the Building Department dated June 17, 2014.

DYER – 7 WARNER LANE

The Board Reviewed plans to install a 4-foot high split rail fence with wire mesh backing and 4-foot by 4-foot gate around the perimeter of the property.

Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.  
No one appeared.

“Dyer – 7 Warner Lane - I have reviewed this application to install a 4 foot high split rail fence with wire mesh backing and 4 foot by 4 foot gate around the perimeter of the property and determined the proposal appears to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”

Mr. Carr moved, seconded by Ms. Greenwood and unanimously carried to approve the installation of a 4-foot high split rail fence with wire mesh backing and 4-foot by 4-foot gate around the perimeter of the property at 7 Warner Lane as shown on the plans received by the Building Department dated June 19, 2014.

ROSENBLATT – 35 PARK AVENUE

The Board Reviewed plans to install rooftop solar panels.

Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.  
No one appeared.

“Rosenblatt – 35 Park Avenue - I have reviewed this application to install rooftop solar panels and determined the proposal appears to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”

Ms. Greenwood moved, seconded by Mr. Carr and unanimously carried to approve the installation of rooftop solar panels at 35 Park Avenue as shown on the plans received by the Building Department dated June 27, 2014.

COLUMBIA ORTHOPEDICS – 155 WHITE PLAINS ROAD

The Board reviewed plans to install a new window sign.

Discussion followed.  The Board Members requested that the applicant research the history of the building and return next month with alternate signage.

DINO – 69 BARNES ROAD

The Board Reviewed plans for siding and roof replacement.

Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.  
No one appeared.

“Dino – 69 Barnes Road - I have reviewed this application for siding and roof replacement and determined the proposals appear to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”

Mr. Carr moved, seconded by Ms. Greenwood and unanimously carried to approve siding and roof replacement at 69 Barnes Road as shown on the plans received by the Building Department dated July 3, 2014.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Mr. Carr moved, seconded by Ms. Greenwood and unanimously carried that the minutes of the Architectural Review Board’s June 18, 2014 meeting be approved as submitted.
