PRESENT:        Acting Chairman Carr; Members, Mr. Mignogna and Mrs. Byrnes and Ms. Pinckney

ABSENT: Mr. Perry and Ms. Greenwood

KARLSSON RESIDENCE – 169 NEPERAN ROAD

No one appeared on behalf of the applicant.

JP MORGAN CHASE – 360 SOUTH BROADWAY

The Board reviewed plans for new signage.

Acting Chairman Carr questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.  
No one appeared.

Mr. Mignogna moved, seconded by Mrs. Byrnes and unanimously carried to approve new signage at 360 South Broadway as shown on the plans received by the Building Department dated September 10, 2012.

AMERADA HESS CORP. – 386 SOUTH BROADWAY

The Board reviewed plans to re-face existing freestanding sign and the addition of new signage.

Acting Chairman Carr questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.  
No one appeared.

Mr. Mignogna moved, seconded by Mrs. Byrnes and unanimously carried to approve re-facing existing freestanding sign and the addition of new signage at 386 South Broadway as shown on the plans received by the Building Department dated September 12, 2012.

DEZIEL RESIDENCE – 80 STEPHEN DRIVE

The Board reviewed plans for the installation of an aluminum fence around the rear yard.

No one appeared.

“Deziel – 80 Stephen Drive - I have reviewed this application for the installation of an aluminum fence and find the proposal appears to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”

Mr. Mignogna moved, seconded by Ms. Pinckney and unanimously carried to approve the installation of an aluminum fence around the rear yard at 80 Stephen Drive as shown on the plans received by the Building Department dated September 12, 2012 and September 14, 2012.

FOTI/RUDDER – 36 FAIRVIEW AVENUE

Ms. Joanne Tall, architect, reviewed with the Board plans of a one-story alteration and rear addition.

Acting Chairman Carr questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.  
No one appeared.

“Foti/Rudder – 36 Fairview Avenue - I have reviewed this application for a one story alteration and rear addition and find the proposals appear to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”

Mr. Mignogna moved, seconded by Mrs. Byrnes and unanimously carried to approve a one-story alteration and rear addition at 36 Fairview Avenue as shown on the plans received by the Building Department dated September 19, 2012.

HUDSON HARBOR – 2 HUDSON VIEW WAY

The Board reviewed plans for a large temporary banner sign on the “Club house”

Acting Chairman Carr questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.  
No one appeared.

Ms. Pinckney moved, seconded by Mrs. Byrnes and unanimously carried to approve, for 6 months, a large temporary banner sign on the “Club House” at 2 Hudson View Way as shown on the plans received by the Building Department dated October 24, 2012.

HOLSTON JEWELERS – 28 MAIN STREET

The Board reviewed plans for new window signage and perpendicular sign.

Ms. Pinckney moved, seconded by Mr. Mignogna and unanimously carried to approve new window signage and perpendicular sign at 28 Main Street as shown on the plans received by the Building Department dated September 26, 2012.

ASBURY TERRACE – 1 RIVER PLAZA

Mr. Stuart Markowitz, architect, reviewed with the Board plans for location/installation of pad mounted generator.

Acting Chairman Carr questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.  
No one appeared.

“Asbury Terrace – 1 River Plaza - I have reviewed this application for installation of a pad mounted generator and determined that the proposal appears to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”

Mrs. Byrnes moved, seconded by Mr. Mignogna and unanimously carried to approve the location/installation of a pad mounted generator at 1 River Plaza as shown on the plans received by the Building Department dated September 27, 2012.

GRACEMERE AT EMERALD WOODS – SOUTH BROADWAY

The Board reviewed plans for a freestanding sign.

Acting Chairman Carr questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.  
No one appeared.

Ms. Pinckney moved, seconded by Mr. Mignogna and unanimously carried to approve, for 6 months, a freestanding sign at 723 South Broadway as shown on the plans received by the Building Department dated September 27, 2012.

ALBRIGHT RESIDENCE – 110 MACARTHUR LANE

The Board reviewed plans for the construction of a covered front porch.

Zoning Board approval received October 9, 1012.

Acting Chairman Carr questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.  
No one appeared.

“Albright – 110 MacArthur Lane - I have reviewed this application for construction of a covered front porch and determined that the proposal appears to pose no significant environmental impact.”

Mrs. Byrnes moved, seconded by Mr. Mignogna and unanimously carried to approve the construction of a covered front porch at 110 MacArthur Lane as shown on the plans received by the Building Department dated October 15, 2012.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Mr. Mignogna moved, seconded by Mrs. Byrnes and unanimously carried that the minutes of the Architectural Review Board’s August 15, 2012 meeting be approved as submitted.  Ms. Pinckney abstained. Motion carried.

The June minutes to be approved at the November 28, 2012 meeting.
