PRESENT: Acting Chairman Carr; Members, Mr. Mignogna and Mrs. Byrnes
ABSENT: Mr. Perry, Ms. Greenwood and Ms. Pinckney
BELIEVE JUICE & BOOKS, LLC – 53 MAIN STREET
The Board reviewed plans for a wall sign and perpendicular sign.
Acting Chairman Carr questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.
No one appeared.
Mr. Mignogna moved, seconded by Mrs. Byrnes and unanimously carried to approve a wall sign and perpendicular sign at 53 Main Street as shown on the plans received by the Building Department dated May 24, 2012.
C-TOWN – 114 NORTH BROADWAY
Mr. J. B. Hernandez, architect, reviewed with the Board plans for a new screened-in enclosure.
Acting Chairman Carr questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.
No one appeared.
“C-Town – 114 North Broadway - The plans submitted do not show what the proposed screening will look like so it is not possible to conduct an environmental assessment. Should something be presented the night of the meeting that the Board feels is acceptable, the Board could move forward with this matter.”
Mrs. Byrnes moved, seconded by Mr. Mignogna and unanimously carried to approve a new screened-in enclosure at 114 North Broadway as shown on the plans received by the Building Department dated May 24, 2012 and July 19, 2012.
HOLSTON JEWELERS – 28 MAIN STREET
No one appeared on behalf of the applicant.
PURE MOUNTAIN OLIVE OIL – 11 NORTH BROADWAY
The Board reviewed plans for new signage.

Mr. Mignogna moved, seconded by Mrs. Byrnes and unanimously carried to approve new signage at 11 North Broadway as shown on the plans received by the Building Department dated July 23, 2012.
AU NATUREL – 7 NORTH BROADWAY
The Board reviewed plans for new awning and perpendicular sign.
Acting Chairman Carr questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.
No one appeared.
Mr. Mignogna moved, seconded by Mrs. Byrnes and unanimously carried to approve a new awning and perpendicular sign at 7 North Broadway as shown on the plans received by the Building Department dated July 24, 2012.
THE FRIENDS OF THE MOZARTINA ARTS CONSERVATORY, INC. – 9-13 MAIN STREET
The Board reviewed plans for structural repairs to east and north facades, re-facing east façade to match west, replace existing doors, improving site drainage, repairing and re-roofing shingles and slate roof.
Acting Chairman Carr questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.
No one appeared.
“The Friends of the Mozartina Arts Conservatory, Inc. (Music Hall) – 9-13 Main Street - I have reviewed this application for structural repairs to the east and north facades, re-facing the east façade to match the west, replacing existing doors, improving site drainage, repairing and re-roofing shingles and slate roof and determined that the proposals appear to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Mr. Mignogna moved, seconded by Mrs. Byrnes and unanimously carried that the minutes of the Architectural Review Board’s July 18, 2012 meeting be approved as submitted. Mr. Perry abstained. Motion carried.
