PRESENT: Chairman Perry; Members, Mrs. Byrnes, Mr. Carr and Ms. Pinckney
ABSENT: Mr. Mignogna and Ms. Lambert
YAMAMOTO RESIDENCE – 12 KERWIN PLACE
The Board reviewed plans for change in siding and installation of a new bay window on the side of the house.
Acting Chairman Mignogna questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.
No one appeared.
“Yamamoto – 12 Kerwin Place - I have reviewed this application for a change in siding and installation of a new bay window on the side of the house and determined the proposals appear to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”
Mrs. Byrnes moved, seconded by Mr. Carr and unanimously carried to approve the change in siding and installation of a new bay window on the side of the house at 12 Kerwin Place as shown on the plans received by the Building Department May 19, 2009.
SCHERER RESIDENCE – 4 EMERALD WOODS
The Board reviewed plans to erect a 5 foot high wood picket fence on the north, south and east side of the property and a 6 foot high chain link fence on the west side of the property.
Acting Chairman Mignogna questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.
No one appeared.
“Scherer – 4 Emerald Woods - I have reviewed this application for erection of a 5 ft. high wood picket fence on the north, south and east side of the property and a 6 ft. high chain link fence on the west side of the property and determined the proposals appear to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”
Mr. Carr moved, seconded by Mrs. Byrnes and unanimously carried to approve the erection a 5 foot high wood picket fence on the north, south and east side of the property and a 6 foot high chain link fence on the west side of the property at 4 Emerald Woods as shown on the plans received by the Building Department June 15, 2009.
BURGER RESIDENCE – 42 ROUNDABEND ROAD
The Board reviewed plans for relocation of steps from side of platform to front of house.
Acting Chairman Carr questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.
No one appeared.
“Burger – 42 Roundabend Road - I have reviewed this application for relocation of steps from side of platform to front of house and determined the proposal appears to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”
Mr. Carr moved, seconded by Mrs. Byrnes and unanimously carried to approve the relocation of steps from side of platform to front of house at 42 Roundabend Road as shown on the plans received by the Building Department June 17, 2009.
PANOSSIAN/CURTIS RESIDENCE – 65 TAPPAN LANDING ROAD
The Board reviewed plans for the installation of a solar electric system.
Acting Chairman Carr questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.
No one appeared.
“Panossian/Curtis – 65 Tappan Landing Road - I have reviewed this application for the installation of a solar electric system and determined the proposal appears to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”
Ms. Pinckney moved, seconded by Mrs. Byrnes and unanimously carried to approve the installation of a solar electric system at 65 Tappan Landing Road as shown on the plans received by the Building Department June 25, 2009.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The board will approve the June 17, 2009 and July 15, 2009 Architectural Review Board minutes at the August 19, 2009 meeting.
