PRESENT:        Acting Chairman Carr; Members, Mrs. Byrnes, Mr. Mignogna Ms. Pinckney and Ms. Lambert

ABSENT: Mr. Perry

VILLAGE OF BRIARCLIFF MANOR – 399 NEPERAN ROAD

Discussion followed.  Board members require additional information.

GRACEMERE ESTATES, LLC – 9 EMERALD WOODS

The Board reviewed plans for addition of fence on retaining walls.

Acting Chairman Carr questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.
No one appeared.

“Gracemere Estates, LLC (Jardim Estates) – 9 Emerald Woods - I have reviewed this application for addition of fencing on retaining walls and determined the proposal appears to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”

Ms. Lambert moved, seconded by Mrs. Byrnes and unanimously carried to approve addition of fence on retaining walls at 9 Emerald Woods as shown on the plans received by the Building Department February 18, 2009.

TARRYTOWN CENTRE – 137 WILDEY STREET

The Board reviewed plans for new storefront.

Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.
No one appeared.

“Tarrytown Centre – 137 Wildey Street - I have reviewed this application for a new storefront and determined the proposal appears to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”

Ms. Pinckney moved, seconded by Ms. Lambert and unanimously carried to approve new storefront at 137 Wildey Street as shown on the plans received by the Building Department February 18, 2009.    

DUMAS RESIDENCE – 31 HIGHLAND AVENUE

Mr. Samuel Vieira, reviewed with the Board plans for new roof above entrance door, repair existing stone steps and landing.

Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.
No one appeared.

“Dumas Residence – 31 Highland Avenue - I have reviewed this application for new roof above entrance door, and repair of existing stone steps and landing and determined the proposals appear to pose no adverse environmental impacts.”

Mr. Mignogna moved, seconded by Mrs. Byrnes and unanimously carried to approve new roof above entrance door, repair existing stone steps and landing at 31 Highland Avenue as shown on the plans received by the Building Department February 20, 2009.  

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
                
Mrs. Byrnes moved, seconded by Mr. Mignogna and unanimously carried that the minutes of the Architectural Review Board’s February 18, 2009, be approved as submitted.  Mr. Carr and Ms. Lambert abstained.  Motion carried.
