Regular Meeting
June 25, 2008           8 p.m.

PRESENT:        Chairman Perry; Members, Ms. Pinckney and Ms. Lambert

ABSENT:         Members,  Mr. Mignogna, Mrs. Byrnes Mr. Carr

FIXELL/HUDSON RESIDENCE – 117 NO. WASHINGTON STREET

Applicant requested an adjournment.

FIXLER RESIDENCE – 45 TARRYHILL ROAD

No one appeared on behalf of the applicant.

CUNNINGHAM/LEVIN RESIDENCE – 121 NEPERAN ROAD

The Board reviewed plans to install a six foot high cedar/lattice fence on the front and sides of the property with gates on each side and a decorative pergola at the front of the property.

Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.
No one appeared.

Chairman Perry reported receipt of the following memo dated June 25, 2008, from Michael Blau, Environmental Review Officer:

“Cunningham/Levin Residence – 121 Neperan Road - I have reviewed this application to install a six foot high cedar/lattice fence on the front and sides of the property with gates and each side, and a decorative pergola at the front of the property and find the proposals appear to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”

Ms. Pinckney moved, seconded by Ms. Lambert and unanimously carried to approve the installation of a six foot high cedar/lattice fence on the front and sides of the property with gates on each side at 121 Neperan Road as shown on the plans received by the Building Department May 29, 2008 with the elimination of the pergola.

BOYCE RESIDENCE – 27 LOH AVENUE

The Board reviewed plans to install a six foot high cedar fence on the west side of the property and a three foot high fence with gates on the east and south sides of the property.

Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.
No one appeared.

Chairman Perry reported receipt of the following memo dated June 25, 2008, from Michael Blau, Environmental Review Officer:

“Boyce Residence – 27 Loh Avenue - I have reviewed this application to install a six foot high cedar fence on the west side of the property and a three foot high fence with gates on the east and south sides of the property and find the proposal appears to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”

Ms. Lambert moved, seconded by Ms. Pinckney and unanimously carried to approve the installation of a six foot high cedar fence on the west side of the property and a three foot high fence with gates on the east and south sides of the property at 27 Loh Avenue as shown on the plans received by the Building Department May 29, 2008.    

HUNTER RESIDENCE – 60 FAIRVIEW AVENUE

The Board reviewed plans to erect two stone walls from 20” to 24” high in the front of the property.  

Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.
No one appeared.

Chairman Perry reported receipt of the following memo dated June 25, 2008, from Michael Blau, Environmental Review Officer:

“Hunter Residence – 60 Fairview Avenue - I have reviewed this application to erect two stone walls from 20” to 24” high in the front of the property and find the proposal appears to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”

Ms. Lambert moved, seconded by Ms. Pinckney and unanimously carried to approve two stone walls from 20” to 24” high in the front of the property at 60 Fairview Avenue as shown on the plans received by the Building Department May 30, 2008.

OCCHIPINTI RESIDENCE – 24 HAMILTON PLACE

The Board reviewed plans for removal and replacement of existing siding.  

Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.
No one appeared.

Chairman Perry reported receipt of the following memo dated June 25, 2008, from Michael Blau, Environmental Review Officer:

“Occhipinti Residence – 24 Hamilton Place - I have reviewed this application for removal and replacement of house siding and find the proposal appears to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”

Ms. Pinckney moved, seconded by Ms. Lambert and unanimously carried to approve the removal and replacement of existing siding at 24 Hamilton Place as shown on the plans received by the Building Department June 10, 2008.

CANNAVO PROPERTY – 15 NORTH WASHINGTON STREET

The Board reviewed plans for removal and replacement of existing siding.

Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.
No one appeared.

Chairman Perry reported receipt of the following memo dated June 25, 2008, from Michael Blau, Environmental Review Officer:

“Cannavo Property – 15 North Washington Street - I have reviewed this application for removal and replacement of house siding and find the proposal appears to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”

Ms. Lambert moved, seconded by Ms. Pinckney and unanimously carried to approve the removal and replacement of existing siding at 15 North Washington Street as shown on the plans received by the Building Department June 13, 2008 and June 25, 2008.
