SOL-MAR CORP. – 12 MAIN STREET
Mr. Sam Vieira, architect, reviewed with the Board plans for a perpendicular sign and painting of existing brick façade in the Main Street Historic District.
Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.
No one appeared.
Mr. Carr moved, seconded by Mr. Mignogna and unanimously carried to approve a perpendicular sign and painting of existing brick façade in the Main Street Historic District at 12 Main Street as shown on the plans received by the Building Department May 22, 2008.
ZAGROBELNY RESIDENCE – 234 CREST DRIVE
The Board reviewed plans to install new front walkway, steps and paint exterior of house.
Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.
No one appeared.
Chairman Perry reported receipt of the following memo dated May 28, 2008, from Michael Blau, Environmental Review Officer:
“Zagrobelny Residence – 234 Crest Drive - I have reviewed this application to install new front walkway, steps and paint exterior of house and determined the proposals appear to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”
Ms. Lambert moved, seconded by Mr. Carr and unanimously carried to approve the installation of new front walkway, steps and painting exterior of house at 234 Crest Drive as shown on the plans received by the Building Department May 13, 2008.
NIEVES RESIDENCE – 20 JOHN STREET
The Board reviewed plans to change brick columns to stone columns.
Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.
Mr. Benjamin Molina – 17 John Street – Concerned about length of the project.
Chairman Perry reported receipt of the following memo dated May 28, 2008, from Michael Blau, Environmental Review Officer:
“Nieves Residence – 20 John Street - I have reviewed this application to change brick columns to stone columns and determined the proposal appears to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”
Mr. Carr moved, seconded by Ms. Lambert and unanimously carried to approve the change in brick columns to stone columns at 20 John Street as shown on the plans received by the Building Department April 11, 2008.
ALOIA RESIDENCE – 11 JOHN STREET
The Board reviewed plans for renovations to an existing building to close in side doors and changes to the roof line.
Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.

Chairman Perry reported receipt of the following memo dated May 28, 2008, from Michael Blau, Environmental Review Officer:
“Aloia Residence – 11 John Street - I have reviewed this application for renovations to an existing building to close in side doors and change the roof line and determined the proposals appear to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”
Ms. Lambert moved, seconded by Mrs. Byrnes and unanimously carried to approve renovations to an existing building to close in side doors and changes to the roof line at 11 John Street as shown on the plans received by the Building Department April 16, 2008.

NISCO RESIDENCE – 164 CREST DRIVE
The Board reviewed plans to install a six foot high cedar fence on a portion of the side yard and entire rear yard of the property.

Chairman Perry reported receipt of the following memo dated May 28, 2008, from Michael Blau, Environmental Review Officer:
“Nisco Residence – 164 Crest Drive - I have reviewed this application to install a six foot high cedar fence on a portion of the side yard and entire rear yard of the property and find the proposal appears to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”
Mr. Mignogna moved, seconded by Mrs. Byrnes and unanimously carried to approve the installation of a six foot high cedar fence on a portion of the side yard and entire rear yard of the property at 164 Crest Drive as shown on the plans received by the Building Department April 18, 2008.
LAFOND RESIDENCE – 95 CREST DRIVE
The Board reviewed plans to replace existing fence with a five foot high black chain link fence.
Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.

Chairman Perry reported receipt of the following memo dated May 28, 2008, from Michael Blau, Environmental Review Officer:
“LaFond Residence – 95 Crest Drive - I have reviewed this application to replace existing fence with a five foot high black chain link fence and find the proposal appears to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”
Mrs. Byrnes moved, seconded by Mr. Carr and unanimously carried to approve the replacement of existing fence with a five foot high black chain link fence at 95 Crest Drive as shown on the plans received by the Building Department April 23, 2008.
CIPRIANO RESIDENCE – 2 GLENWOLDE PARK
Mr. Sam Vieira, architect, reviewed with the Board plans for a 10’ by 17’ addition to the north side of the property, enlarge and repair existing garage, new covered terraces and partial second story addition.
Zoning Board approval received May 12, 2008.
Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.

Chairman Perry reported receipt of the following memo dated May 28, 2008, from Michael Blau, Environmental Review Officer:
“Cipriano Residence – 2 Glenwolde Park - I have reviewed this application for a 10 ft. x 17 ft. addition to the north side of the property, enlarging and repairing existing garage, new covered terraces and partial second story addition and find the proposals appear to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”
Mr. Mignogna moved, seconded by Mrs. Byrnes and unanimously carried to approve a 10’ by 17’ addition to the north side of the property, enlarge and repair existing garage, new covered terraces and partial second story addition at 2 Glenwolde Park as shown on the plans received by the Building Department April 24, 2008.
MONZON RESIDENCE – 1 WHITE STREET
The Board reviewed plans to replace existing fence with a six foot high white vinyl fence.
Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.

Chairman Perry reported receipt of the following memo dated May 28, 2008, from Michael Blau, Environmental Review Officer:
“Monzon Residence – 1 White Street - I have reviewed this application to replace existing fence with a six foot high white vinyl fence and determined the proposal appears to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”
Ms. Lambert moved, seconded by Mrs. Byrnes and unanimously carried to approve the replacement of existing fence with a six foot high white vinyl fence at 1 White Street as shown on the plans received by the Building Department April 25, 2008.
CRAWFORD RESIDENCE – 17 MECHANICS AVENUE
The Board reviewed plans for replacement of existing aluminum siding with vinyl siding.
Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.

Chairman Perry reported receipt of the following memo dated May 28, 2008, from Michael Blau, Environmental Review Officer:
“Crawford Residence – 17 Mechanics Avenue - I have reviewed this application to replace existing aluminum siding with vinyl siding and determined the proposal appears to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”
Mr. Mignogna moved, seconded by Mrs. Byrnes and unanimously carried to approve the replacement of existing aluminum siding with vinyl siding at 17 Mechanics Avenue as shown on the plans received by the Building Department April 28, 2008.
DYOTT RESIDENCE – 111 NEPERAN ROAD
The Board reviewed plans to erect a three foot high stone wall along Neperan Road and erect a retaining wall at the back of the property which is occupied by a Historic Landmark House.
Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.

Chairman Perry reported receipt of the following memo dated May 28, 2008, from Michael Blau, Environmental Review Officer:
“Dyott Residence – 111 Neperan Road - I have reviewed this application for a Certificate of Appropriateness to erect a three-foot high stone wall along Neperan Road to create a flower bed and to erect a retaining wall at the back of this historic landmark house and find the proposals appear to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”
Mr. Carr moved, seconded by Mr. Mignogna and unanimously carried to issue a “Certificate of Appropriateness” to erect a three foot high stone wall along Neperan Road and erect a retaining wall at the back of the property which is occupied by a Historic Landmark house at 111 Neperan Road as shown on the plans received by the Building Department July 6, 2007 and May 9, 2008.
MCNALLY RESIDENCE – 100 RIVERVIEW AVENUE
The Board reviewed plans to replace an existing concrete walkway.
Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.
No one appeared.
Chairman Perry reported receipt of the following memo dated May 28, 2008, from Michael Blau, Environmental Review Officer:
“McNally Residence – 100 Riverview Avenue - I have reviewed this application to replace an existing concrete walkway and find the proposal appears to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”
Mr. Mignogna moved, seconded by Mrs. Byrnes and unanimously carried to approve the replacement of existing concrete walkway at 100 Riverview Avenue as shown on the plans received by the Building Department May 5, 2008.
ENDRES RESIDENCE – 204 RIVERVIEW AVENUE
The Board reviewed plans to erect a three foot high picket fence on the north side of the property.
Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.

Chairman Perry reported receipt of the following memo dated May 28, 2008, from Michael Blau, Environmental Review Officer:
“Endres Residence – 204 Riverview Avenue - I have reviewed this application to erect a three-foot high picket fence on the north side of the property and find the proposal appears to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”
Ms. Lambert moved, seconded by Mr. Carr and unanimously carried to approve a three foot high picket fence on the north side of the property at 204 Riverview Avenue as shown on the plans received by the Building Department May 13, 2008.
