Regular Meeting
January 2, 2008         8 p.m.

PRESENT:        Chairman Perry; Members, Ms. Lambert, Mr. Mignogna and
Mrs. Byrnes

ABSENT:         Members, Mr. Carr and Ms. Pinckney

FIXELL/HUDSON – 117 NO. WASHINGTON STREET

Applicant requested an adjournment.

KEY BANK – 75 NO. BROADWAY

The Board reviewed plans to resurface an existing four sided cube sign and install an illuminated channel letter sign to the front wall of the building in the Broadway Sign District.

The Board requested that the applicant resubmit plans for the cube sign for the February Architectural Review Board meeting.

Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.
No one appeared.

Mr. Mignogna moved, seconded by Ms. Lambert and unanimously carried to approve an illuminated channel letter sign to the front wall of the building in the Broadway Sign District at 75 No. Broadway as shown on the plans received by the Building Department November 7, 2007.  

DELPRIORE RESIDENCE – 94 PAULDING AVENUE

The Board reviewed plans to install a white picket fence in the rear of the property.

Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.
No one appeared.

Chairman Perry reported receipt of the following memo dated January 2, 2008, from Kathleen D’Eufemia, Designated Environmental Review Officer:

“DelPriore Residence – 94 Pauldng Avenue – I have reviewed this application to install a white picket fence in the rear of the property and determined the proposal appears to pose no significant adverse environmental impacts.”

Mrs. Byrnes moved, seconded by Ms. Lambert and unanimously carried to approve the installation of a white picket fence in the rear of the property at 94 Paulding Avenue as shown on the plans received by the Building Department November 8, 2007.

GRANT RESIDENCE – 69 CHURCH STREET

No one appeared on behalf of the applicant.

PRUDENTIAL RAND – 54 NO. BROADWAY

No one appeared on behalf of the applicant.

CASE RESIDENCE – 77 CREST DRIVE

The Board reviewed plans for construction of a two car garage and kitchen, renovation of existing 2nd floor, new window, siding and extension of existing driveway.

Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.
No one appeared.

Chairman Perry reported receipt of the following memo dated January 2, 2008, from Kathleen D’Eufemia, Designated Environmental Review Officer:

“Case Residence – 77 Crest Drive – I have reviewed this application for construction of a two-car garage and kitchen, renovation of existing second floor, new windows, siding and extension of existing driveway and determined the proposals appear to pose no significant adverse environmental impacts.”

Mr. Mignogna moved, seconded by Mrs. Byrnes and unanimously carried to approve the construction of a two car garage and kitchen, renovation of existing 2nd floor, new window, siding and extension of existing driveway at 77 Crest Drive as shown on the plans received by the Building Department December 18, 2007.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
                
Mr. Carr moved, seconded by Mrs. Byrnes and unanimously carried that the minutes of the Architectural Review Board’s November 28, 2007, be approved as submitted.  Motion carried.
