The Open Space and Recreation Plan Committee (OSRPC) will be hosting a forum on July 8th, at 7:00 in the Swampscott High School cafeteria. The committee will outline the pros and cons of all of the possible locations for a dog park in town. Data presented is based on analyses from the Departments of Public Works, Health, Recreation, and Planning. The dog park is a goal of the OSRPC that was included in the state-approved 7 year Open Space Plan for the town and the committee is responsible for its implementation. The forum is planned in order to
gain further insight on locations that have not been brought up previously. Based on the public forum feedback, we aim to present the best location for a dog park to the Board of Selectmen for their final approval.
