The Swampscott Fireworks will be held on July 3 with Lynn off of King's Beach. Because of recent events several new layers of security have been added.
This year there will be an undercover presence of police officers among the crowd. We will also restrict more parking this year. No Parking will be allowed on both sides of Humphrey St from the Red Rock Bistro to the Lynn line from 5pm until 11pm. These areas will be clearly marked the day before the fireworks. Humphrey St will be closed from Redington St to Lynn Shore Drive beginning at 730pm until approximately 11pm. We would also like to discourage people from bringing backpacks and or coolers into this area. Finally, we would also like to remind people that the consumption of alcohol in this area is prohibited and will be strictly enforced.
