Electronics recycling drop-off day scheduled
The Swampscott Board of Health, in conjunction with CRT Recycling, Inc., will hold a cathode ray tube drop-off event for Swampscott residents on Saturday September 29th from 9 am to noon at the DPW yard on 200 Paradise Road.
All televisions will carry a $6 disposal fee ($10 if it is encased in wood), $4 for computer monitors and $2 for microwaves. There will be no cost for other electronic products such as computer components, VCR’s, stereos, etc.
