Meeting Minutes September 9, 2008
Members Present; Steven Rice, Diane Miller, Kenneth Malo
1. 7:00 S Rice opens the public hearing, introduces the members present. He reads the Legal Ad as written in the Millbury Sutton Chronicle. No members of the Community are present, S Rice asks the members present if they have any questions or comments on the proposed fee changes. D Miller and K Malo have no comments or questions. J Silverberg arrives. 7:09PM S Rice closes the public hearing. Motion to implement the Board of Health Fee’s as presented J Silverberg, 2nd D Miller. All in Favor 4-0
2. 8 West Sutton Road, tight tank is being installed. Installer has hit ledge and is peeling the layers off, has broken 3 pieces of equipment so far. Tank should be all installed in next few days.
3. 48 Griggs Road, continuance per the owner William Fox
4. 36 Hutchinson Road, oil leak, C Rawinski is monitoring the situation with DEP. Underground line has been leaking for years. Monitoring wells have been installed; neighboring wells within 500 feet are being tested. S Rice mentions that having our Haz Mat Program in place would be helpful in events like this.
5. Approval of minutes from August 2008.
6. 188 Worcester Providence Turnpike, approval of easement deeds. Motion J Silverberg, 2nd D Miller.
7. 254 Boston Road, variance for 3 foot offset to ground water. System is a repair. Motion J Silverberg, 2nd D Miller.
8. 13 West Sutton Road, looking for variance to put in new well. J Malley will call engineer of plan and advise that plan is incomplete, and must show all neighboring wells and septic systems. The distance to the systems and wells must be accurate not approximate.
9. C Rawinski updates the Board on upcoming events. James Smith TA would like the BOH Meetings televised, J Silverberg is all for this, S Rice will take under advisement. Mutual Aid Agreement has been signed.
