**Public Hearing** Liquor License – Vaillancourt Folk Art: Hearing notice read by Selectman Dave Hall. Present is Gary, Judy and Luke Vaillancourt. This hearing is a request for a §15 Wine & Malt Off premises liquor license at 9 Main Street, Sutton Ma. this request is to allow them to offer a collectible bottle of wine each year with a label designed by Judy Vaillancourt. Gary Vaillancourt states this is to adapt to the evolving consumerism. To add to the Christmas traditions that the sale of their collectibles have become. Luke Vaillancourt states they have partnered with Latitude Beverages out of Boston to bottle the wine. There will be no signage indicating the wine, they are not looking to become a package store. Vice Chair Hebert, a seasonal buyer at Vaillancourt, feels it is nice to introduce new things and asks if the bottles will be numbered. Luke replies that is the goal. Vice Chair Hebert goes on to say your family has been in town for many years with no blemishes, what you do is for the good of Sutton. Selectman Hall understands the nature of the request but says they still must have rules in play. Gary Vaillancourt states he and Luke are both TIP certified and the two full time employees will be trained as well. Dave goes on to say they will be included in the compliance checks when they are held in town but it does seem low risk. Gary does state he does not see this as any competition to his neighbor Crossroads, it is a different cliental. Rob Fucci asks will it be red or white wine, Luke replies this year it will be a red cabernet. Chairman Limanek commends Vaillancourt for doing a phenomenal business for many years and sees no issues with this seasonal offering. Jesse feels this is more of a collectible and wishes much luck. Neil Crites of 447 Putnam Hill road says Gary Vaillancourt is a great asset to Manchaug Mills and he fully supports this request.  Hearing no further comments, Vice Chair Hebert motions to close the public hearing, Selectman Hall 2nds passes 3-0 Discussion by the BOS all feel this is straight forward and are in full support. They also feel this will not be detrimental to the neighboring business and mention for record the correspondence received regarding Crossroads. Selectman Hall states this will leave one more Beer & Wine available for off premises but there are no potential businesses at this time looking for one. The BOS all agree they see no issue with Puckihuddle Preschool being across the street.  Vice Chair Hebert motions to approve a §15 Wine & Malt off premises liquor license request from Vaillancourt Folk Art at 9 Main Street (Manchaug Mills), Sutton MA, Gary Vaillancourt Manager of record, Selectman Hall seconds passes 3-0

MRA Sport summer program: present is Alex Rogozinski, TA Smith states this is MRA’s 6th year coming before the BOS. All the documents are in order except the MA Environmental Police, which has been filed but has not yet received back. Summer Solstice will be held on June 8th and the Blackstone Valley triathlon will be held on September 16th. Vice Chair Hebert says everything is in order and Alex is always a gentleman to work with. John does state that Goddard Lodge will be undergoing renovations so that area should be coned off.  Selectman Hall appreciates that Alex comes back yearly to present to the board and answer any questions. Dave states this is a way to show off the towns assets. Chairman Limanek values Vice Chairman Hebert’s opinion regarding this location and goes on to say this is a way to make good use of our asset (Marion’s Camp).

P&S 126 Mendon Road: TA Smith states this is a P&S for property that was approved to be sold at the Fall Town Meeting. There was a bid process and Ed Newell of 5 Medbury Road was the winning bidder at $1,500.00.
