Sunapee recreation meeting February 15 2006
Meeting called to order 7pm
In attendance Scott Blewitt,Deb Mcgrath,Paul Skarin,Chris Williams,Janet Cain,Patricia Halpin,Chuck Weinstein
Minutes accepted from last meeting.
Ross Stevens came in to discuss the options available for field expansion at Dewey field off Rt 11. The news not good at this time
the sight is not feasible and would be costly. There are deed restrictions that also apply. Paul Skarin will talk to Dewey family.
other field ideas were discusses as well.
Sharon Thielicke, Kim Stoughton, Donna Gazelle came in to talk about plans for a play space in the Harbor behind the bathrooms near the water. The play space would be designed for younger children and funded by private donation and the beatification committee funds.
The skating rink has been going well this winter when the weather cooperates.
skate board park--Scott is looking into Grant money and is pricing more equipment.
Baseball/softball signups to begin Mar 10-11
Toni Milewski softball clinic is scheduled for March 17-18-19
Celtis game scheduled for April 5th $55.
Beech staff hiring to be advertised.
Ski Day set for Mar 17??
Scott has an add out looking for donations for canoes,rowboats sailboats.
Easter egg hunt TBA.
