Meeting called to order by Patricia 7:00pm

Motion to approve minutes of November meeting by Craig, seconded by Jon 
 
Betsy Katz would like to be a part of the rec committee as an alternate 
member.  Was previously chair of Glastonbury, CT rec commission for 10 
years 
 
Has experience with events (apple harvest festival had 30,000 people 
first year), Mapping, Sunapee Old Town Hall committee for a few years, 
and will be a full time Sunapee resident on January 2011, Project 
Sunapee, 
 
New ideas and activities and reach groups we are not reaching.  Her 
motto is to "serve a population from 3-103".  Historical society event 
to attract younger population (farm days) 
 
Wants to be a part of town. 
 
Open Gym 
Has not been advertised yet because no one will run it.  This is 6-9pm 
on Saturday nights December through February. 
 
Discussion of moving to earlier time.  Will try 6-8pm. Need coverage 
December 18

Liner for skating rink donated by Sunapee Police Benovelent Association, 
second $1000 from Sunapee Harbor Magic Fund 
 
Final turkey trot # is 813 
Finances are still being sorted out with expenses 
 
Swing set for Dewey field will be delivered this Friday.  Scott will 
send letter to society for protected forests for blessing on replacing 
the swing set at Dewey field 
 
Red sox trip on Friday July 22 vs Seattle.  This will be the only Red 
Sox trip of the summer $90 per ticket.  55 seats available 
 
Scott received an estimate from Mark Usko for $34,000 to address 
drainage on Veterans field.  Members of committee went to selectman's 
meeting and discussed project.  Selectmen seemed largely in favor of it. 
No cuts were recommended for the rec budget 
 
Tilton park event. Pencil in January 16 for a date.

Snow shoe disc golf 
Tubing 
 
Warming hut - light towers have been built with 500watt bulbs that can 
be directed.  Lights and heater will be on a timer.  Police will lock 
the building nightly.  There will be a fire extinguisher in the shed and 
Christmas lights for Christmas. 
 
Scott will let SCES staff know when the skating rink is open to put in 
newsletters 
 
Patricia researched a gift donation policy.  Received guidance from area 
towns and Donna.  Patricia will compile and develop a working document.

Patricia has begun researching the youth soccer scheduling and will 
continue. 
 
Discussion of Betsy. Motion to accept Betsy by Jon Reed, second by Leon, 
all in favor unanimous 
 
Still an opportunity for another alternate, spread the word 
 
Committee completed evaluation of Scott
